Chabad at Columbia University:
Chabad is a home away from home for students at Columbia University—a cozy place to unwind in an oasis of Jewish tradition, friendship, and homemade food. While Chabad offers countless social and learning opportunities, our weekly Shabbat dinners are the true highlight. Picture 250-300 students from all Jewish backgrounds coming together, spread across four floors of a newly renovated brownstone. It is something special. We’d love to connect with you, so don’t hesitate to reach out!
Inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and founded on the basis of Chassidut philosophy, Chabad’s goal is to create a Jewish community in which one feels comfortable to explore and deepen his/her Jewish identity.  Whether it be at a Shabbat meal, Torah study session or social gathering, no matter the background or familiarity to Judaism, every student is welcomed and loved.
Chabad Student Network:
The undergraduate student branch of Chabad at Columbia University was officially recognized by the Student Governing Board on December 7, 2010. Since then they have brought unique Jewish programming to the entire Columbia Community and served as representatives of Columbia University undergraduates at many local and international events.
The Chabad Student Network is looking to bring many more events to campus that foster communal and Jewish life.
