CUCSD furthers sustainable development within and through the Columbia University community through:
- Fostering an interdisciplinary community of students and faculty with an interest in sustainable development;
- Enabling Columbia University students to attend high level meetings on sustainable development, both in New York City and overseas;
- Developing links and partnerships with external bodies that share our interests, and using this network to further our mission;
- Promoting sustainable development across the Columbia University community.
