The Ethio-Eritrean Student Association is an organization committed to creating a support system for Columbia students with an interest in Ethiopian & Eritrean cultures. EESA fosters a community where Ethiopians and Eritreans can explore their cultures and traditions. The group hosts events for the Columbia community to explore and take part in Ethiopian and Eritrean cultures and traditions. EESA provides members of the organization, cultural, academic and professional connections with alumni and other affiliates within New York City and elsewhere. By engaging communities within Ethiopia through programs that serve these communities, EESA fosters and promotes a sense of unity amongst members based upon their common cultural, historical and linguistic heritages.
