The Columbia University Journal of Global Health is Columbia University’s premier undergraduate-run, open access public health publication and media organization dedicated to publishing high quality, peer-reviewed original student research relevant to the broader global health community. The Journal of Global Health also provides a forum for the vibrant discussion of topical global health issues through podcast and blog formats to ultimately engage populations beyond academia. With authors representing 70+ institutions in 10+ countries spanning 5 continents, The Journal of Global Health features the work of student researchers and activists from across the globe to convey the diverse perspectives necessary to address global health challenges and bring about equity in healthcare for all, worldwide.
Editorial Review Board (ERB) Associate Editors work in teams under the guidance of a Senior Editor to evaluate and discuss manuscript submissions in editorial process and identify/contact peer-reviewers for our semesterly issue.
Online Board (OB) The Online Board of JGH is devoted to spreading awareness of global health issues by contributing to the podcast series, What is Global Health?, which consists of interviews with well-known leaders in the fields of global and public health. Through the Online Board, you can explore your interests, meet with global health professionals, and share your passion with the Columbia community and beyond.
Production & Design Board The Production & Design Board takes charge in the print issue publication process. It ensures stylistic standards are upheld and consistent and manages the journal website, and sets design standards for logo, website, and manuscripts, as well as helping out other boards with any design needs. Business and Communications Board (BCB) The Business and Communication Board manages JGH's communications and finances and is responsible for new community outreach initiatives.
