The Media & Entertainment Business Association serves as the premier student organization at Penn State that focuses on the business side of the film, television, video game, and music industries! Entertainment is currently one of the fastest-growing sectors in the American economy, employing over five million Americans. Career opportunities in the entertainment industry for business graduates include product management, brand management, corporate strategy, global marketing, corporate finance, film production, and more.
Many top business schools, such as Columbia Business School and UCLA Anderson consistently funnel amazing talent into the entertainment industry. We hope that our student organization will help establish Penn State University and the Smeal College of Business as a great source of talent for employers in the entertainment industry who are seeking students who can think outside the box with creativity and innovation, creating a network of Penn Staters in Entertainment for years to come.
The organization meetings will consist of guest speakers from the media/entertainment business and networking/social events!
