Community Health Collective aims to partner with local organizations, including neighborhood soup kitchens and afterschool programs, to provide free health prevention and medical education services. We hope to serve as an access point for community members to receive free health screenings for hypertension, diabetes, colon cancer, and eye concerns as well as referrals to local student-run clinics for further health evaluations. Our goal is to increase access to healthcare, promote health empowerment within the Sacramento community, and provide medical students with opportunities to connect meaningfully with local community members.
