Purdue's NECA student chapter provides meaningful, practical professional development opportunities for students to explore and prepare for careers in the electrical construction industry. The NECA student chapter creates opportunities for students, contractors, and educators to build relationships on four pillars of success: 1. Awareness - Learn about opportunities in the electrical construction industry through tours, site visits, networking and educational events, and career opportunities 2. Engagement - Attend industry events to gain Beyond the Classroom experiences 3. Connection - Establish industry connections that support student and contractor relationship building and career development 4. Continued Growth - Gain hands-on experience through industry internships, co-ops, and full-time roles with NECA contractors
