GrEENPEAS is the Graduate Environmental Engineering Network of Professionals, Educators and Students. Its purpose is to promote professional relationships among graduate students, staff, faculty, and alumni of the EWRE program. The organization hosts various events that develop students' networking skills and abilities in preparation for the field they will enter.In addition, the organization serves to promote academic exchange between members of the environmental engineering and environmental sciences communities through collaboration with departments such as SEAS, EEB, and others.Within the CEE department, GrEENPEAS serves to grow the sense of community of the EWRE program through the sponsorship of social activities and provides a voice to advocate for the individual and collective needs of graduate students within the EWRE program.
