Political & Advocacy
MFED was created in hopes of better understanding the Federal Reserve, specifically by modeling the Federal Open Market Committee’s actions using possible real-world economic scenarios. We aim to host professional speaker events, predict federal interest rates and monetary policy, as well as participate in an annual Mock FOMC competition hosted by the Federal Reserve. MFED works to improve financial literacy and prepare members for the professional world.
