The Pre-Med Club at the University of Michigan consists of active members and an executive board. One may attain active membership by completing the following requirements: (1) Paying dues ($10 New Members, $5 Returning Members), (2) Earn 5 points by the end of the semester through participating in various events. Participating in the PMC Mentorship program, attending the Alternative Spring Break trips, or volunteering in the WHSP program will grant members 4 points. Active members can apply for eboard positions, participate in the physician shadowing program, receive free Access to Medical School Admissions Requirements (MSAR), and receive a 20% discount on all Princeton Review MCAT classes.We offer the following opportunities for all members:Philanthropy partnerships with Wigs 4 Kids, Freedom House Detroit, Center for Success, Mothers2Mothers, Autism AwarenessVolunteering opportunities with the Wolverine Health Sciences Program, Food Gatherers, Relay for Life, Detroit Partnership Day, VA Hospital, Hope Clinic, Glacier HillsPMC FormalAlternative Spring Break Medical School Training and Exploratory Program (M-STEP) medical school visits and tours Mass Meetings with special guest speakersMentorship program Physician shadowing with local physicians Social eventsand many more!For more information please refer to our Canvas page or follow us on Instagram @pmc_um!
