The USNDA aids in the advancement and retention of minority students within the field of dentistry by connecting like-minded undergraduate students in achieving their goals of becoming a dentist. USNDA provides opportunities to serve the community with various volunteering events, facilitates mentorship between members of the Student National Dental Association (SNDA) here at the University of Michigan and provides opportunities to connect and shadow dentists. Members also get to connect with speakers with relevant social, service, professional, and educational information about the field of dentistry.
