White Coats for Planetary Health was founded by a group of University of Michigan medical students to increase awareness of and find solutions to the impacts of climate change on health, to address the impact that the US healthcare system has had on climate change and pollution, and to utilize the healthcare voice in advocacy for systemic change to address climate change and environmental injustice. We additionally seek to integrate climate change and sustainability into the education of our future healthcare professionals.
