WaGMiME is established for the express purpose of connecting women and gender minorities in mechanical engineering with professional opportunities and mentorship. It works to socially and professionally connect current students, staff, and faculty with the greater engineering community through networking with academic and industry professionals. Our mission is to provide the sense of community necessary for women and gender minorities to become leaders on campus and in their field; and improve retention rates of women and gender minorities in mechanical engineering.
