4 Justice is Emory University’s first Criminal Justice Reform Club. We seek to improve the criminal justice system in 4 steps:
Inform the public of the severity of racial injustice present in the justice system by publishing written reports about the true difficulties caused by incarceration as well as the seemingly nonsensical reasons why some people are incarcerated. Fight for clemency or pardon for individuals serving unusually long sentences Work to improve conditions for children, families, and individuals impacted by the criminal justice system Encourage legislators to implement strategies to prevent unnecessary incarceration
