The purpose of BTBC is to foster a greater awareness and love of the biotechnology and biochemistry fields at Oxford. BTBC aims to share knowledge of the biotechnology and biochemistry fields, including the latest research findings, while acknowledging the issues the field faces. Furthermore, BTBC aims to enrich the community by providing equal research opportunities for all of Oxford, especially for those that do not have research experience yet. Whether or not you are passionate about DNA and CRISPR or are a business major curious to learn more, we welcome everyone to all of our events!
If we garner enough interest, we will also participate in the iGEM competition this summer!
