Circle K is part of an organization called Kiwanis and specifically focuses on the college level. Within the Kiwanis family, there are K-Kids (elementary schools), Builder's Club (middle schools), Key Club (high schools), Circle K (college), and Kiwanis (adults) and they have the same goal: providing service and making a positive impact on the world every day. Oxford Circle K was chartered on March 4th, 1957 and continues to promote a close knit bond with other Circle K members throughout other Georgia colleges. We hope to connect with more Key Clubs and Circle K clubs in multiple states. We will also work locally with our community through various service events. We will be able to attend the annual fall retreat in Covington where students from different Georgia colleges come together and develop team skills and methods to effectively run a club. Members who are in Circle K are allowed to run for district governor and various district positions. These members will oversee not just one Circle K club, they will be responsible for the Circle K clubs within the district. They are also in charge of communication with the international officers (which you can also run if you are a part of Circle K) and also maintaining a strong network of services on multiple campuses. We are the only club where you can run to be a local, district, or international officer and manage service across different schools.
