EAIDA (Emory Artificial Intelligence and Data Association) is a student-led, innovation-driven organization focused on promoting the academic study, practical applications, and ethical issues of artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics.
AI and machine learning are undeniably some of the hottest topics today, and Emory University offers many resources to help students adapt to and engage with this emerging field. However, some students may find it hard to connect with professors and access these valuable resources, some may not know where to start with AI, and others may not major in math or computer science but still want to ride the AI wave. We believe that AI is for everyone, regardless of major, race, or wealth. EAIDA’s mission is to empower Emory students to become proactive explorers and leaders in the global AI movement through interdisciplinary perspectives and diverse activities.
We provide a vibrant learning platform for students from all backgrounds. Whether you're a computer science enthusiast or a student in the humanities looking to understand how AI is shaping the future, EAIDA welcomes everyone to join our discussions and activities. Additionally, we plan to collaborate with Emory’s AI Learning Center, Computer Science Department, Business School, and other university entities to help students better understand the wealth of AI resources Emory has to offer.
