The Pre-Physician Assistant Society of Emory University aims to better prepare undergraduate students for application to Physician Assistant (PA) programs. The Society will achieve this through consolidation of information and resources related to the application process, requirements for admission, patient care experience opportunities, and an overall idea of the physician assistant profession. The club will continually strive to provide opportunities for undergraduates to familiarize themselves with the healthcare system through completing patient care hours and shadowing local physician assistants. The Society also fosters a teamwork approach to the consolidation of information and encourages students to take agency of their desired career path by participating in the contribution of resources.
