Career Development & Networking
HeartStart Emory (HSE) is a team of American Heart Association certified Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) instructors who provide high-quality CPR and BLS certifications to Emory students, healthcare workers, and the wider-Atlanta community. We also have non-certified members who educate the importance of learning CPR and being prepared to act in emergencies. We host a CPR instructor training program through the American Heart Association in the spring semester. We will also host First Aid and reversing-overdose workshops. If you're interested in ever becoming an instructor yourself, getting CPR/BLS certified, participating in community service events, or learning other valuable skills in the healthcare field, please join HSE!
