Mellon Humanities Pathways
Academic
Funded by a $1.25 million grant from the Mellon Foundation, Humanities Pathways supports four major initiatives:

Faculty Seminars designed to fuel discussion and debate about the future of work. Faculty from different disciplines within the humanities convene six times per year to deeply explore issues related to a changing workforce and the future of labor within a cultural and historical context.
Course Development Workshops provide strategies for faculty members to augment or redevelop courses that will help students translate coursework to post-graduate pathways.
Career Treks encourage students to explore beyond the traditional classroom to visit cities, attend conferences, meet with successful professionals, and participate in activities that serve to highlight the connections between their coursework and the outside world. (On hold during COVID pandemic)
Alumni Connections panels bring together Emory alumni and current humanities students for a conversation about the wide array of professional paths available to them after graduation.
