The Biomedical Informatics (BMI) Outreach Group aims to represent Emory University’s Biomedical Informatics Department and promote its research and achievements through outreach events in the Atlanta area. The BMI Outreach Group will operate as a student-led organization that hosts events to educate, inspire, and engage the community across age groups, with a focus on promoting diversity and encouraging young girls to pursue STEM and Biomedical Informatics careers. Our target membership includes students from the Biomedical Informatics Department, as well as those interested in outreach, STEM education, and biomedical research from Emory’s student population.
