Oxford Sports Analytics is a student-run sports statistics club at Oxford College of Emory University. Founded in 2021, the club aims to fill the void in data analytics opportunities outside the classroom in a fun and innovative way. We work directly with Emory Oxford’s Quantitative Theory and Methods (QTM) department to lead research projects in various sports, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, as well as multiple national conferences and competitions. By combining personal and professional interests, we also host regular guest talks. In the past, we have welcomed representatives from the Atlanta Braves, San Jose Sharks, YMCA, and more.
