Exo-suits have been popularized by icons such as Iron Man and STARX wishes to make a suit like his into a reality. STARX comprises of engineering students of all backgrounds who specialize in the exo-suit's bio-mechanics, electronics, programming, and actuation. STARX is involved in cutting edge research and allows students to experience enterprise level engineering design opportunities not available in the classroom such as 3D printing, advanced machining and programming, and artificial muscle design and implementation.
