As a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness on the importance of musical education in children, NeuroNote works alongside research labs in developing new approaches to K-12 education and shedding light on the growth playing an instrument provides for children. Activities include providing playing lessons and performances to children at schools and hospitals in an attempt to broaden the availability of music to children of all backgrounds and abilities. Additionally, fundraising events supported by the organization and its members allow for distribution of funds to research labs with a similar goal and the purchasing of instruments for children in economically-disadvantaged areas.
