MissionMembership in Sigma Alpha Epsilon requires fairness and respect toward all human beings, honesty and calmness in the face of adversity, and above all else, humility. We, as brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, choose to adhere to these values and to do everything in our power to act as a force for good amongst ourselves and throughout Stanford University. We understand that being a member of this brotherhood is a privilege, and we vow to challenge our brothers toward maximizing the opportunity we have been given. Men who are and will be initiated into Sigma Alpha Epsilon voluntarily accept membership into an organization of young men dedicated to the betterment of each other and those around them through education, discussion, and action. We understand that, at all times, we represent SAE at Stanford University.
