MissionThe central purpose of SOLE is to increase the number of Chicanos/Latinos in the academic and professional areas of Engineering and Science. The group serves the needs of its members by sponsoring both academic and social programs as well as promoting academic and career development for undergraduate students. SOLE is committed to community service, especially in the area of promoting educational achievement among elementary, junior high, and high school students.
