MissionStanford International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) is dedicated to the advancement of synthetic biology through student-driven research, education, competition, and the development of an open and collaborative community. The organization brings together multidisciplinary Stanford students to design, build, and test cutting-edge biological solutions to real world problems, ultimately working towards representing Stanford in the Grand Jamboree Competition that bring together thousands of students, leaders in the industry, and stakeholders to shape the future of synthetic biology.
