MissionSocial Gaming: SVGA endeavors to bring the Stanford community together through social video gaming in the form of in-person LAN parties, on and off campus gaming events, and campus-wide game nights.Competitive Gaming: SVGA will tryout, organize, and manage competitive teams representing Stanford in any intercollegiate or similar competitions. The processes for competitive team tryouts will be determined on a per-game and per-competition basis.Educational Gaming: SVGA will promote educational opportunities revolving around video game design. This includes, but is not limited to, exploring the possibility of videogame design classes and inviting industry experts to provide seminars.
