Mission
Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) at UCI is an organization that encourages exploration into the field of biomedical engineering. Our mission is to foster an inclusive community for students interested in biomedical engineering through mentorship, career building, hands-on project experience, and outreach. By building a network of undergraduate and graduate students, professors, and industry professionals, we aim to strengthen the biomedical engineering community in and around UCI.
Membership Benefits
Members have the opportunity to gain technical skills through hands-on projects, build networking skills and meet mentors through industry events and our mentorship program, develop connections to the community through outreach events, and strengthen leadership skills through involvement with the board.
