MissionGlobal Empowerment for Women’s Medical Support UIUC serves as a networkof outreach to underfunded clinics in developing countries to help them cover the expenses oftheir daily operations, from laboratory equipment to maintenance costs. By running fundraisingevents on campus, GEMS aims to expand access to medical care in low- and middle-incomecountries, particularly emphasizing female and maternal healthcare.
