MissionThe purpose of The Navigators at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is to help interested students learn how to navigate through life with a Christian worldview by:2.1 providing students with opportunities to meet other University of Illinois atUrbana-Champaign students of similar faith and values, and grow in Biblicalunderstanding, character, sense of worth and purpose, interpersonal skills, ministryand leadership.2.2 providing students with diverse learning environments wherein they can discoverlife-relevant principles about the Christian faith as presented in the Old and NewTestaments of the Bible.2.3 providing students who demonstrate leadership interest with more focusedopportunities for mentoring, based both on the individual needs of the student aswell as the long-term goals of the organization.2.4 providing students with a deeper understanding of the message of The Navigators.2.5 providing support to students as they participate in the educational mission of TheUniversity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
