Mission
We Alpha Epsilon Delta or AED, strive to provide experience. Our mission is to not only provide members a community of friends also on the same track into the health field, but to provide the opportunities for members to attain experience in the health field. We strive to accomplish this through providing members health profession speakers, mentorship, group trips, shadowing opportunities, and more. We want all members to have attained enough experience to be more than prepared and aware of what to expect in the health field.
Membership Benefits
Lifetime Membership into Alpha Epsilon Delta provides a strong minded pre-health community of students all sharing the same goal to enter the health field. Alongside companionship and accountability from it's community, AED also provides numerous opportunities to participate in health related activities, trips, shadowing, mentorship, volunteer service, speeches/speakers from actual professional health careers such as doctors from Santa Barbara hospitals. Overall AED provides it's members with the ability to attain vast experience of what is to come in the health field through shadowing actual professions, mentoring, and service. All this while providing a community of companions to help each other through it all.
