Mission
The A.S. Global Gaucho Commission is a body funded by the UCSB undergraduates concerned with providing a positive and comfortable learning environment for international students. Its purpose is to confront and proactively resolve issues of international student-related concerns and create and promote programs to educate the student body on the international student experience and help integrate international students into the UCSB student community. This Commission shall implement and support rules and regulations that will help provide a more safe atmosphere for international students on this campus, and network with other groups, campus departments, or other universities to better represent international students at UCSB or other educational institutions. The Commission shall form sub-commissions as deemed necessary.
