Mission
Enjoyers of Christ is a group of college students who love the Lord Jesus! We meet simply as Christians without any denominational affiliation because we treasure the testimony of the oneness of the Body of Christ, and our desire is to cooperate with Him for the accomplishment of God's eternal purpose (Eph. 3:11). Thereby ministering the unsearchable riches of Christ (Eph. 3:18) for the building up of the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:12). Whether that be in our weekly Bible studies, meetings, or simply playing beach volleyball, we recognize that every Christian is a dear member of His Body and thus, "each one has" (1 Cor. 14:26) a portion of Christ to be shared with all.
With the support of Christian families in our community (Alumni and related), we have found the way to pursue Christ is by being "with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart" (2 Tim. 2:2). We come from diverse backgrounds and warmly receive all believers as our brothers and sisters in Christ and seek to maintain the oneness of the Spirit by keeping our focus on Christ.
Enjoyers of Christ has been a registered student organization since 2013. Our goal is to enjoy Christ, grow more in Him, and spread His testimony on the UCSB campus. We love our Lord Jesus and hold the Christian faith which is common to all believers. We hope to see you come and join our Christian community, our church family, and together pursue Christ, grow together daily more into Him (Eph. 4:15), and allow Christ to make more home in our hearts (Eph. 3:17).
