GMMA offers mentorship and the opportunity to form long-lasting relationships with professionals active in academic settings and healthcare fields.
The main focus is put on medical missions to sites all over the world, which offers opportunities to grow in individual faith, gain shadowing experience for various healthcare professions, and provide medical and community service to local populations.
Resources are available on and off campus to aid undergraduates on their pre-health journey.
Membership Benefits
Global Medical Missions Alliance (GMMA) members strive to bring and promote Christ-centered missional life to the body of healthcare professionals and its partners. Its members are Christian healthcare professionals, pre-health students involved in university-based student chapters, and missionaries all over the world. Each branch of GMMA desires to prepare pre-health students to teach and care for the well-being of the whole person in mind, body, and Spirit.
