The organization is known as the Sikh Student Association at UCSB, henceforth referred to as SSA. We, the members of the Sikh Student Association at UCSB, establish to provide four main services to our members: Simran (Religious events), Seva (Community Service), Sangat (Social and Cultural events) and Academics.
Membership Benefits
UCSB SSA is open to any student who wishes to participate in our events. Members have the ability to participate in Sikh and culturally-related topics. Our events include celebrating religious and/or cultural events such as Bandi Chhor (Festival of Lights), and making a trip to the Ventura Sikh Temple at least once each quarter.
