Mission
Our club raises micro-loans for impoverished women in Guatemala, providing each woman with a micro-loan to start her small business and financial advisor to be successful long-term. While most of our women never got to study past the third grade our micro-loan and education program has proven successful as most beneficiaries repay their loan in full. Each woman can then take another loan or the money is donated to another local woman. Also, most of our beneficiaries are mothers and with our micro loan help they are able to keep their kids in school and start to break the cycle of poverty. Our mission at Stella Polaris is to provide micro-loans to hard-working, intelligent women so they can keep their kids in school and uplift their communities.
Membership Benefits
As a member of our club, you will be able to work with like-minded individuals towards a common cause. Our fundraising efforts have tangible results, as we receive videos and updates from the impoverished Guatemalan women we fundraise for. Our dedicated members even have the opportunity to eventually visit Guatemala! While there, members will get to see the profound impact our efforts had on each family and community, as our fundraising supported their entrepreneurial efforts and gave them an opportunity.
