The purpose of Students for a National Health Program is to educate and advocate for the establishment of a universal, comprehensive single-payer health care program in the United States. SNaHP at UCSB exists to promote the idea that high-quality health care is a right of all people and should be provided equitably as a public service rather than bought and sold as a commodity.
