To recognize the merit, dedication, and hard work of transfer students and to award their accomplishments by inducting them to the UCSB chapter. We strive for the inclusion of all transfer students and to be part of a thriving transfer community.
Membership Benefits
While Tau Sigma Honors Society is a well-known and well respected community, our local chapter is focused on creating a welcoming community for our diverse transfer student population on campus. Networking opportunities are a big plus for academically driven members within our local UCSB chapter. We are committed to expanding networking possibilities by collaborating with nearby chapters like UCLA & UCR. Tau Sigma offers support and campus involvement by hosting a variety of events and activities throughout the academic calendar year. Each member as well as their family will be invited to attend our special and intimate Induction Ceremony held annually in the Winter quarter.
