Amnesty International's vision is of a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments. In pursuit of this vision, Amnesty International's mission is to undertake research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of these rights. Amnesty International is independent of any political ideology, economic interest, or religion.
Guided by the fundamental principles of Amnesty International USA, this chapter shall best practice and exemplify its mission. This chapter shall support Amnesty International USA's stance on issues such as migrant rights, racial justice, and women's right of choice, and participate in annual Amnesty International USA events, including Banned Books Week and Write for Rights.
