Mission
It is the mission of the Summer Transitional Enrichment Program (STEP) to aid in the retention of incoming EOP students so that they may persist and continue on toward a four year degree at UCSB. STEP programming will assist participants in their transition to UCSB by cultivating a sense of belonging and community while instilling university standards and expectations in relation to scholarship, leadership, and citizenship.
