Mission Cinegogue is a pre-professional, social, and educational organization for Jewish students interested in the cinematic arts on campus.
Membership Benefits Screenings: Film and TV Guest Speakers: Actors, Writers, Directors, and other Industry professionals Panels with Professionals: Faculty and other people working in the industry Jewish Film Festival: compete in a festival where you can write, direct, produce, and even star in short films with Jewish themes and casts/crews. Pre-professional opportunities: resume building workshops, networking 101, opportunities to meet employers at Jewish production and development companies, job fairs, headshot day Workshops: learning how to write script coverage, table reads + script notes, lessons in production, etc. Collabs with other organizations: the Shoah foundation, the ADL Production: Opportunity to work on a development video for Hillel - could be paid! “Cinegogue Presents” i.e. Content creation: A Youtube channel featuring student productions. Short films, filmed sketch comedy, or more traditional youtube content (i.e. cooking show, video essays, etc.) Jewish Cinema Fellowship: a paid opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of Jewish cinema in the United States and abroad.
