To advance students' interest in orthopedic surgery and provide ways to explore the field and build connections at Keck.
Membership Benefits
We provide students with engaging lunchtime lectures from USC Orthopedic Surgeons concerning what their lives are like, new advances in the field and how to get that highly competitive orthopedic residency. SOSIG holds skills workshops where students can hone their surgical skills in small groups with orthopedic residents. The SOSIG shadowing program can get you into County Hospital working alongside residents and physicians. We also invite students to attend Ground Round Conferences, held every Friday morning.
