Mission
Shift SC is USC's student-led platform for ethically aligned and socially responsible technology. We aim to create opportunities at USC for interdisciplinary conversation and action around the social implications and ethical issues of technology.
Membership Benefits
Members of Shift SC gain experience in event planning and research/education initiatives, networking opportunities with professionals and companies, and a community of other students passionate about socially responsible technology. Shift SC members have the opportunity to plan and organize events that serve hundreds of USC students, including our Tech4Good Career Fair, Symposium, and Pitch Competition. They are able to lead their own initiatives in an ethical technology field to create tangible projects in topics ranging from health to public policy. They also can connect with and collaborate with Shift SC’s network of socially responsible companies and organizations.
