Hapkido is a Korean self-defense martial art that consists of strikes, kicks, joint locks (manipulation), rolls, falls, throws, and grappling. The Hapkido class at Georgia Tech meets every T-Th at 7:00-8:15pm in the CRC Studio A. However, class time alone does not allow for bonding friendships, so the club exists to bring Hapkido students together through social events. The club offers a variety of events, from potluck dinners to field trips, practicing Hapkido outdoors, or giving self-defense seminars to the whole campus.
