Jumpstart is a national early education organization that recruits and trains college students and community Corps members to serve preschool children in underserved populations in the neighborhood. Our proven curriculum helps children develop the language and literacy skills they need to be kindergarten ready, setting them on a path to close the achievement gap. Jumpstart at GT connects Georgia Tech students to year-long volunteer positions with typical weekly commitment being between 10-15 hours. Eligible Georgia Tech students can also earn their Federal Work Study award through Jumpstart.
