Social Justice
Rescue Paws's goal is to partner with humane societies in the Atlanta area and host events with them, raising awareness for rescue animals and the benefits of adoption. We also want to raise money through events, donations, and fundraisers in order to make donations to the shelters. Our members will serve local humane societies by visiting and volunteering their time and care for the pets that need attention. We also as an organization hope to advocate for animal welfare and educate the public on how to properly care for animals. Oftentimes, college students will adopt or foster pets in their apartments, and it is crucial that they understand the best ways to take care of those animals! We hope to bring attention to the many animal shelters in the Atlanta area and educate the public on how they can properly care for those animals in need.
