Always Texas' mission is to create a space where all students are welcomed and celebrated. We work to create an organization with a diverse membership in traits such as race, class, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, identity, and experience. Authenticity and inclusivity drive our organization's core and we are committed to ensuring that our organization upholds our 7 foundational values: spirit, service, inclusivity, community, progressivism, traditions, and love.
We strive to serve all working-class people and marginalized communities, such as BIPOC (Black Indigenous, and People of Color), disabled folks, and those who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. As a spirit organization at the University of Texas at Austin, we work to build an inclusive culture that encourages, supports, and empowers those on campus to be their most authentic selves and find comfort in all their identities.
