The Biomedical Optics Graduates Organization (BOGO) aims to provide students in the fields of biomedical optics and biomedical imaging with resources to attain success in both research and professional development. BOGO was started with the purpose of cultivating interest in biomedical optics and imaging research within the Department of Biomedical Engineering. BOGO hopes to provide an inter-departmental platform for graduate students to present their own research, gain exposure to the research of others, and network with fellow students and professors through a regular seminar series and social events. BOGO also provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to interact with graduate students and to learn about the research opportunities available to them.
