The Financial Literacy Club is the UT Austin chapter of the Financial Literacy Club 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Through workshops, educational resources, guest speakers, events, and interactive programs, The Financial Literacy Club @ UT Austin aims to ensure the next generation’s financial stability by educating college students at the University of Texas at Austin on topics related to personal finance.

We host educational workshops on topics such as budgeting, bank accounts, taxes, loans, and insurance. These workshops are designed specifically for college students at UT Austin. Our workshops feature interactive components to help students not just learn about finance, but also to see its relevance in their daily lives. We host panels for all general members with industry professionals to integrate students into a professional network. We employ a multimedia approach by hosting interactive competitions and programs to appeal to any student’s preferred mode of learning.

Our unique personal finance workshops are created by UT Austin students, for UT Austin students. We provide personalized information and interactive programs designed to address the unique financial challenges encountered by college students in Texas, setting us apart from other financial programs. Our mission extends beyond education to promoting financial literacy as a fundamental aspect of equal opportunity for all.
